Description

Poster art of my main character in my graphic novel. The novel isn't drawn in this style, but thought I would take a break and experiment with different cartoon styles. I quite like it.

Just a brief run down, Amelia (or amy) created this imaginary realm called magdala, in which she is ruler and goddess. Her moods, circumstances and emotional state of mind influences Magdala, and whatever she happens to overcome or resolve in Magdala will influence her real life. Magdala and her Queen like persona are just extentions of herself, and are just as real to her as her ordinary life.

The goldfish are one of her most precious companions and powers. She used to have a golden dragon companion in her world (which represented the influence of a real person in her life), but when that person died, so did the dragon, but the dragon promised that she (Amelia) would never be alone, so all the golden scales of the dragon lept off her body and turned into the tiny goldfish. These little spirits are the watchers of magdala, and through them Amelia can still hear the distant voice of the dragon. And when Amelia gets into a spot of trouble, the goldfish can swarm together and form various weapons, or on very rare occations, swarm into the shape of a dragon again.

I hope you like it, I realise there are a few problems with anatomy issues, but I hope you can still enjoy the piece!

This is an original character (c) me, you do not have permission to use this in any way.

I must say... the description made me very sad... nothing more I can say about that.

as far as the composition goes, I must say I love the perspective... done wonderfully with the foreshortening and perspective ishues of the outstreatched hand...

Hmm... her boobs seem to be a bit too big though... just my humble opinion.

Otheer then that... I think we already discoussed the ishue with her clothing beying impractical... and you explained that it was suposed to be that way... so, no problem.

All in all, it's a good piece... a bit too colerfull for my tastes... but hey... to each his own. I'm just happy to see you posting stuff again, and I apologyse for the late comments... I had them in the DA inbox for some time... but never was in the mood to actually take the time and look over and comment...

anyways... take care, and keep up the good artwork!
