Hi everyone! While I have been working on my main project, I needed to blow off some steam and create a side comic strip for your entertainment. For those of you who don't know what a hakama is, it's basically a pleated divided skirt that was traditionaly worn by japanese men, but is now worn by both sexes. The hakama was also worn by the samurai, and each pleat represented a virtue to uphold. If you can't think of what it looks like, think of the movie, "the last samurai." Some martial arts students still wear hakama, like kendo or aikido. I train in aikido, and in my country, once a woman reaches a certain "senior" rank before shodan, she is allowed to wear a hakama.
